General Certificate of Education Advanced (A Levels)

  • Grade BBB or ABC or AAC in 3 subjects: Biology,Chemistry (minimum grade B),Physics or Mathematics

Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)

  • Grade BBB or ABC or AAC in 3 subjects: Biology,Chemistry (minimum grade B),Physics or Mathematics

Note: A combination of A-Levels or STAM and STPM is allowed to fulfil the entry requirement

Matriculation or Pre-study in Medicine and Pharmacy

  • Grade BBB or ABC or AAC in 3 subjects: Biology,Chemistry (minimum grade B),Physics or Mathematics AND
  • Provided the programme is not less than 1 year and completed in the same institution.

Pre-medical/Pre-pharmacy Programme or Foundation in Sciences/Matriculation or Pre-study in Medicine and Pharmacy

  • Additional requirements: Minimum Grade C in English and Bahasa Melayu in SPM or an equivalent level is compulsory.

Note: Malaysian students without a credit in SPM Bahasa Malaysia are required to pass Bahasa Kebangsaan A before graduation. For civil-servant positions, refer to the Public Services Department guidelines.

Placement into the various levels of the English for Tertiary Education programme depends on the English Language qualification students have at the point of admission and/or the outcome of the English Placement Test.
