  • STPM (Science Stream):
    • Malaysian citizen
    • Obtain a minimum CGPA of 3.80
    • Obtained at least Grade A in TWO (2) subjects and Grade A- in ONE (1) subject at STPM level; Biology, Chemistry, Physics / Mathematics (M) / Mathematics (T)
  • Matriculation / Foundation (Science Stream):
    • Malaysian citizen
    • Obtain a minimum CGPA of 3.80
    • Obtained at least Grade A in TWO (2) subjects and Grade A- in ONE (1) subject at Matriculation/Foundation level; Biology, Chemistry, Physics / Mathematics
  • Diploma / Equivalent (UPU):
    • Malaysian citizen
    • Possess a Diploma in Pharmacy or Science recognized by the Government of Malaysia and approved by the University Malaya Senate with a minimum CGPA of 3.80;
    • Obtained at least Grade B in THREE (3) subjects at Diploma level; Biology, Chemistry, Physics / Mathematics
  • UM SATU Foundation:
    • Malaysian citizen
    • Obtain a minimum CGPA of 3.80

  • GCE A-Level:

    • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Science recognized by the Government of Malaysia and approved by the University of Malaya Senate with a minimum CGPA of 3.50
  •  SPM / O-Level / Equivalent Subject Requirements:
    • Obtain a minimum grade B in FIVE (5) of the following subjects:

  • Obtain a minimum of Band 3.0 in MUET for examinations starting from Session 1 of the year 2021, or Band 3.0 for examinations up to the year 2020, according to the validity period on the date of application
  • Applicants without MUET but with the following results may be considered for conditional admission, provided they fulfil MUET requirement within ONE (1) academic session:
    • Obtain at least Band 4.5 (Academic) in IELTS; or
    • Obtain a minimum score of 33 in TOEFL iBT (Centre-based)
