Entry Requirements

SPM/O level: Possess Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with three (3) credits in Mathematics, one science subject and one any other subject, or its equivalent.
STPM: Pass Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of Grade C (GP2.00) in any subject, or its equivalent; and possess SPM with three (3) credits in Mathematics, one science subject and one any other subject, or its equivalent.
STAM: Pass Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul, or its equivalent; and possess SPM with three (3) credits in Mathematics, one science subject and one any other subject, or its equivalent.
SKM: Pass Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) (Level 3, MQF) in a related field and possess SPM with one (1) credit
Certificate: A Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, or its equivalent.
Note: The credit requirement at SPM level can be waived should the grades obtained at the STPM/STAM/Matriculation level are equivalent/higher
UEC: Minimum grades of B in 3 subjects, inclusive of Mathematics and one science subject.
Polytechnic/Certificate Equivalents: Minimum CGPA 2.0
Equivalent Courses: Case-by-case basis.
Matriculation: CGPA of 2.0 and above with minimum Grade E in Chemistry and Biology/Physics/Mathematics.
SAM: Aggregate 50% inclusive of Chemistry, Biology and Physics/Mathematics.
CPU: Aggregate 50% inclusive of Chemistry, Biology and Physics/Mathematics.
WAEC/NECO: Aggregate 50% inclusive of Chemistry, Biology and Physics/Mathematics.
International Baccalaureate (IB):
- Minimum score of 20/42 in 6 subjects including Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics/Physics.
- Minimum scores of 3/7 in Chemistry, Biology and Physics/Mathematics.

English Requirements

Candidates with a minimum grade of A2 in UEC English Language, Band 3 in MUET, 30-31 in TOEFL, 4.0 in IELTS, Grade C in O Level or IGCSE or SPM English 1119, grade B1 (with at least 2 skills at B1) in CEFR, 140 in Cambridge English Qualification, 140 in Cambridge Linguaskill, and 36 in Pearson Test are exempted from SE004 Basic English and SE005 English Foundation.
Other equivalent qualification can be exempted on case-by-case basis. Candidates who scored lower than B+ in SPM English Language or than the above requirement will have to take the SE004 Basic English subject before taking the SE005 English Foundation subject in the foundation year.
