About Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT)

The Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT), formerly known as TAR University College (TAR UC), was founded in 1969. A premier tertiary education institution with over 50 years of excellence and rated 'Berdaya Saing (Competitive)' in the latest SETARA rating, the institution was recently upgraded to a full-fledged university in April 2022 with the vision of being a leading university capable of transforming the future. 

TAR UMT Perak Branch Campus offers an impressive range of exciting facilities which includes an on-campus gym, computer labs with high-speed internet access that are readily available throughout the campus and up-to-date computer software, well-maintained lecture and tutorial rooms to help in students learning, as well as various extracurricular sports and recreation facilities to enhance students campus life experience.

Campus Location

TAR UMT Perak Branch Campus is located in Kampar, Perak. The campus is nestled in an education township, surrounded by residential areas and lush greenery and sits by a large man-made lake. The campus is only a few minutes away from town with various amenities nearby such as restaurants, banks and hypermarkets.

In addition to the Perak branch campus, TAR UMT has a main campus in Kuala Lumpur and branch campuses in Penang, Pahang, Johor and Sabah.
