What is Economics?
Economics, at its fundamental level, is about the allocation of scarce resources.
Since resources like goods, services and money are limited, economists study and look at how governments, businesses and people can use and allocate resources to satisfy their wants and needs.

What are the minimum entry requirements for an Economics Degree?
To pursue a Degree in Economics, the typical entry requirements are:
- A-Level: Minimum 2Es; or
- STPM: Minimum 2Cs; or
- Australian Matriculation: Minimum average of ATAR 60; or
- Canadian Pre-University (CPU): Minimum average of 60%; or
- Relevant Diploma: Minimum CGPA of 2.00; or
- Foundation in Arts or Foundation in Business: Minimum CGPA of 2.0; or
You may also need to have a minimum of 3 credits in SPM, including a pass in Mathematics and English.
That said, the entry requirements may vary depending on the university, so be sure to do your research!
