Compulsory subjects:
- STPM ,A Level, UEC, Other IHL must include:
- SPM Pass/ O Level Grade E (pass) in Mathematics##/ UEC Grade C in one mathematics subject##
- SPM Pass/ O Level Grade E(Pass)/ UEC Grade C in English Language** OR MUET Band 2.0/IELTS Band Score 3.0/LINGUASKILL Average Score 127/equivalent
The requirements of pass in a mathematics subject at SPM/O Level/UEC can be waived if the applicant possesses any other higher qualifications that contain Mathematics subjects with an equivalent or higher level of achievement.
English Language requirement can be exempted for students whose programme full medium of instruction was in English
## Grade C and above in General Mathematics conducted by TAR UMT is accepted as having fulfilled the Mathematics requirement for applicants who fail the required Mathematics subject at SPM/O Level/UEC.
** Grade C and above in English Language conducted by TAR UMT is accepted as having fulfilled the English Language requirement for applicants who fail the required English Language subject at SPM/O Level/UEC.
Notes:
- a) Students without a credit in SPM Bahasa Melayu are required to pass Bahasa Kebangsaan A before the award of their Bachelor's Degree.
- b) TAR UMT Diploma will be accepted on credit transfer into Bachelor's Degree programmes.
- c) Equivalent qualifications or qualifications from other Institutions of Higher Learning (IHL) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- d) Subject to the Ministry of Higher Education’s latest requirements.
