Course Structure

This Bachelor of Business and Commerce course consists of eight core units from the business and commerce specified study (Part A), eight units to complete a major from the business listed majors (Part B), and eight units from the free elective study (Part C). Out of your eight free electives, it is possible to study a second major, or two minors, or a minor plus four free electives, or eight free electives from the course. A minor is a set of 4 units concentrating on a single area of study. Areas of study to choose from for the Bachelor of Business and Commerce:

In Applied Economics, you will learn about microeconomics, which explores decisions made by individuals, businesses, and governments, and macroeconomics, which examines the economy's behaviour as a whole. You will also study econometrics, which involves using statistical methods to analyse economic data and test theories. The analytical and critical thinking skills you'll develop can be applied to various fields. The Bachelor of Business and Commerce degree meets the criteria for accreditation, exemption or membership with relevant professional institutions or industry bodies.
