Internship Position: Event Management Intern

Position Summary: As an Event Management Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the planning and execution of various events. You will work closely with our experienced event managers to contribute to the success of our projects and develop valuable skills in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in Event Planning:
• Collaborate with the event management team to plan and organize events from concept to completion.
• Research and source vendors, venues, and other event-related services.
• Assist in creating detailed event timelines and budgets.
• Logistical Support:
• Coordinate logistics for events, including transportation, catering, and audio-visual requirements.
• Manage inventory and supplies for events.
• Assist in on-site event coordination and troubleshooting.
• Communication and Coordination:
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Assist in maintaining client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of events.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Compile post-event reports, including feedback and recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain organized documentation of event details, contracts, and vendor agreements.

Work you’ll do

• Assist in the development and maintenance of applications using Microsoft SharePoint and Power Platform.
• Support application team tickets by troubleshooting issues, providing solutions, and ensuring timely resolution of requests related to application development and maintenance.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office / Power Platform.
• Has good command of both written and spoken English.
• A team player with good interpersonal skills

• Assist in the production team for main channel.
• Handle video shoots for our other YouTube channels!
• Plan and set up lighting, audio, camera equipment and the scene.
• Make creative props for our videos.
• Learn how to shoot organically viral videos that are relevant to today's digital landscape.
• Improvise scripts to make it even more fun!
• Learn how to analyze social media account data + analytics to further improvise on the videos!

Key Responsibilities:

• Involve in the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and maintaining candidate communication.
• Provide administrative support to the People & Culture team, including managing employee files, entering data and assisting with reporting.
• Support the development and implementation of HR strategies aimed at boosting employee engagement, satisfaction and well-being.
• Collaborate closely with the People & Culture team to brainstorm and execute initiatives that  foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Other Responsibilities:

• Support in regular monitoring of office supplies, amenities, and overall workplace conditions for maintaining a clean, organized and welcoming office environment.
• Assist with planning and organizing events, including selecting venues, coordinating logistics and liaising with vendors.
• Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth execution, from registration to post-event wrap-up.
