Main Responsibilities: 

• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, delivery performance, and reliability.

• Obtain quotations and perform price comparisons.

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

• Issue Purchase Order (PO) based on duly approved Purchase Requisition (PR) and act as a gatekeeper to review the reasonableness, accuracy, and necessity of the requested items before processing.

• Coordinate with suppliers on quality issues, delivery delays, and corrective actions.

• Follow up PO acknowledgement from supplier, on delivery status and ensure on-time arrival.

• Coordinate with warehouse and production for urgent requirements.

• Maintain proper documentation of quotations, POs, and contracts.

• Verify and ensure all supplier invoices are accurately matched with approved Purchase Order (PO) and Good Received Notes (GRN) prior to timely submission to the Finance Department.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct product testing on various materials, products, or samples using appropriate laboratory equipment and techniques.

• Develop and validate new testing protocols, methods, and procedures, and ensure that they are in compliance with applicable regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.

• Maintain and arrange for laboratory equipment calibration to ensure accurate and reliable test results.

• Analytical skill is required, including the ability to analyse and interpret test results, discuss with project leader to troubleshoot the issue.

• Develop and maintain documentation and record-keeping systems to ensure data integrity and traceability.

• Proceed product compliance application and prepare required documents based on the checklist provided for application submission. Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure approval be obtained within targeted schedule.

• Cooperate with engineering teams to review design concepts, safety construction requirements, and identify regulatory requirements for air conditioning product and related component before transfer design ownership to manufacturing.

• Work with engineering teams to determine applicable certification requirements, applicable (safety, EMC and performance) compliance standards, and application route, to ensure smooth introduction of product to market.

• Study the air conditioner product regulation requirements of various countries. Identify the upcoming regulatory with changes in worldwide standards, regulations and certification requirements and communicate how they may impact to our new and released product.

• Provide support to manufacturing factory for third party annual surveillance audits.
