Job Overview
We are looking for a passionate and student-focused individual to join our team as a Student Experience Executive. This role plays an important part in supporting student wellbeing, engagement, and overall academic journey by coordinating counselling support and organising meaningful student initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
· Establish and implement a structured counselling system in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
· Work closely with Programme Leaders, Heads of School (HOS), and the Academic Support Department (ASD) to identify students who may require counselling or additional support.
· Provide guidance to help students overcome learning challenges and improve academic progress.
· Maintain confidential counselling records and monitor student progress.
· Refer students to external professional services when necessary.
· Plan and organise workshops, talks, and activities focusing on student motivation, wellbeing, study skills, academic success, and career readiness.
· Develop initiatives to enhance the overall student experience and encourage participation in campus activities.
· Act as a key point of contact for student concerns and help create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
· Track student engagement and prepare quarterly reports on student experience and counselling initiatives.
· Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Student Experience.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counselling, Education, Student Development, or a related field.
· 1–3 years of relevant experience in student services, counselling support, or the education sector. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work empathetically with students from diverse backgrounds.
· Good organisational and event planning skills.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
