JOB SUMMARY:-
Responsible for managing and coordinating the full spectrum of export, import, and local logistics operations. Ensure accurate documentation, compliance with statutory requirements, cost-effective freight management, and smooth coordination between internal teams, customers, and forwarding agents to achieve timely and efficient shipment execution.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -
· Manage the full set of local and export shipments for Fulijaya, including invoice preparation (SAP/manual).
· Handle scrap invoices and cash sales invoice preparation.
· Obtain, compare, and evaluate all shipment transportation and export freight rates, and select the most suitable rates to support shipments while ensuring cost efficiency.
· Prepare transport requests, haulage bookings, courier service arrangements, and gate passes for container in/out movements.
· Handle and follow up end-to-end shipment arrangements with customers, transporters, and freight forwarding agents.
· Liaise with the Warehouse, Planning, QA and Production teams to ensure timely receipt of finished goods and QA approval of test results prior to shipment.
· Prepare export labels for the Warehouse and ensure all shipping documentation is accurate and up to date.
· Confirm and follow up end-to-end with customers on shipping document confirmations to agents (e.g., BL, Form D/E, COO, Invoice, Packing List, Insurance).
· Prepare customer Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN) in the system prior to shipment departure from the factory.
· Dispatch original shipping documents and Notices of Shipment to customers upon shipment completion.
· Prepare and circulate monthly export shipment schedules to the relevant departmental teams.
· Manage, prepare, and purchase daily and monthly customer export pallets.
· Handle import and local SST exemption applications and submissions.
· Handle the renewal of statutory and government-related documents (e.g., COO, Forwarder Appointment Letters) and assist with MITI costing applications and submissions.
· Support the Warehouse team in annual inventory counts and ensure accurate reconciliation of stock records.
· Assist in audit preparation by providing required shipment, inventory, and logistics documentation for internal and external audits.
· Handle and update daily shipment reports (export and local), and report to the Manager accordingly.
· Maintain systematic and proper filing of export records and certificates.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENT: -
Education Level:
· Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Alternatively, a diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transportation Management with relevant work experience may also be acceptable.
Years of Experience:
Minimum 2 years in logistics, preferably in manufacturing or production (priority considered).
Professional Certificate/ License:
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standard
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Knowledge of SEDEX Standard
