We are a property investment company that owns and manages a diversified portfolio of residential,commercial, and retail properties. We are seeking a Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operationsand management of a retail commercial complex in Prai.
Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations and management of the retail complex.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure the property is safe, clean, functional, and well maintained.
Coordinate and monitor maintenance, repair, refurbishment, and improvement works.
Liaise with contractors, consultants, service providers, and relevant authorities on operational andmaintenance matters.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with tenants and attend to tenant enquiries andconcerns.
Monitor occupancy levels and work with property agents to market vacant units and source suitabletenants.
Assist management in evaluating prospective tenants and maintaining an appropriate tenant mixwithin the complex.
Work closely with the Accounts Executive to monitor tenancy administration, tenancy renewals,rental collection, and occupancy matters.
Review operational, maintenance, occupancy, and tenancy reports and provide regular updates tomanagement.
Coordinate with tenants, agents, lawyers, contractors, building users, and other stakeholders toensure the smooth operation of the complex.
Identify opportunities to improve the condition, occupancy, and overall performance of the property.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in commercial property management, retailproperty management, facilities management, or a related field.
Experience managing a retail complex, commercial development, shopping centre, or mixed-useproperty will be an advantage.
Good understanding of building maintenance, contractor management, tenancy matters, andproperty operations.
Experience dealing with multiple stakeholders including tenants, contractors, consultants, localauthorities, and service providers.
Good understanding of tenant mix, occupancy management, and commercial property operations.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Able to work independently and take ownership of the property's day-to-day operations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Possess own transport and willing to travel when required.
Relevant experience will be given greater consideration than academic qualifications.
