Business is important because it affects our everyday lives and the way society functions. Without sound business practice, there will misuse of goods, services and resources that could otherwise have contributed greatly to the economy and made a positive impact in people’s lives.
A Diploma in Business will teach you the essentials of Business. You will be given a broad look at the knowledge of how businesses work, how to run and manage a business, as well as the functional areas of daily affairs and long-term planning.
A Diploma in Business requires at least 3 credits (C and above) at SPM, O-Level or equivalent, including a pass in SPM Bahasa Melayu and History.
For UEC students, you will need to have minimum of 3Bs.
To pursue a Diploma in Business, you need to have an SPM qualification or equivalent. You must also meet the minimum entry requirements of the college or university.
A Diploma in Business is typically 2 years long.
Upon completing a Diploma in Business, you will have several options:
- Enter the workforce immediately; or
- Pursue a Degree in Business, entering in Year 2; or
- Pursue one of many professional business qualifications, such as a Financial Risk Manager (FRM)
