What you need to know

IMC’s Diploma in Nursing is a 3-year programme that’s recognised by the Malaysian Nursing Board (MNB) and is designed to prepare students to become competent registered nurses. 

Here’s the list of IMC’s hospital partners and the details of their sponsorship:

a) Private hospitals in Malaysia (e.g. Pantai-Gleneagles and Prince Court Hospitals, Fatimah Hospitals, Sri Kota Hospitals, Island Hospital, Alpha Fertility MC, etc.) 

  • Full sponsorship from Year 1, including registration and tuition fees, accommodation and transportation for clinical posting
  • Uniform and shoes, book allowance, and medical benefits are also included
  • Free laptop from IMC
  • Allowance of up to RM1,000 each month for all 3 years of your study
  • Guaranteed employment for 5 years with a starting salary of RM2,000 to RM2,500++
  • Total sponsorship value is up to RM100,000

b) IHH Healthcare Singapore (Gleneagles Hospital, Mount Elizabeth Hospitals, Parkway Hospital)

  • Full sponsorship from Year 1, including registration and tuition fees, accommodation and transportation for clinical posting
  • Uniform and shoes, book allowance, and medical benefits are also included
  • Free laptop from IMC
  • Allowance of up to RM1,000 each month for all 3 years of your study
  • Temporary hostel upon graduation while looking for your own accommodation
  • Guaranteed employment for 5 years with a starting salary of SGD3,000++
  • Total sponsorship value is up to RM120,000

c) Ministry of Health (MOH) Singapore

  • Full sponsorship from Year 2 onwards, including tuition fees, accommodation and transportation for clinical posting
  • Uniform and shoes, book allowance, and medical benefits are also included
  • Free laptop from IMC
  • Allowance of SGD4,550 (~RM15,105) per semester for final 2 years of your study
  • Guaranteed employment for 4 years with a starting salary of SGD3,000++
  • Total sponsorship value is up to SGD27,300

What are the requirements?

You are eligible to apply for sponsorship if you meet the following criteria: 

  • Malaysian citizen
  • Meet the requirements of 5 credits in Mathematics, Science, Bahasa Malaysia and any other 2 subjects, and a pass in English
  • Be certified physically and mentally fit by a medical practitioner
  • Have a good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
