· Monitor closely the progress of job execution against Work Order Instruction (WOI) and ensure compliance.
· Monitor workflows to identify potential risks or deviations from standard operating procedures.
· Detect and prevent contamination with other materials or foreign substances.
· Ensure that warehouse housekeeping and cleanliness is carried out as planned and well maintained.
· Check moisture content of stockpiles.
· Monitor radiation levels by using radiation survey meter and maintain reporting on daily basis (applicable to radioactive copper/gold concentrates).
· Conduct physical inspections focusing on indicators such as particle size distribution, consistency, color, and overall material integrity.
· Prevent stockpile cross-contamination or mixing.
· Document and escalate anomalies or signs of quality deterioration.
· Audit stock lists and verify the accuracy of bay plans.
· Compile detailed cargo quality inspection reports that include photographic evidence and test results.
· Record and report any non-compliance or discrepancies encountered during the inspection process.
· Provide report to Operations Team on daily basis for immediate rectification.
· Maintain organized records for audit and compliance purposes.
· Investigate quality issues or customer complaints and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
· Collaborate with operation teams to determine root causes and develop appropriate corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA).
· Follow up implementation of CAPAs to ensure long-term resolution of issues.
· Ensure pre-operation briefing is conducted, and all information and instructions are conveyed effectively prior to commence of operation
· Work closely with third-party surveyors during sampling, weighing, and quality verification activities.
· Facilitate effective communication between the Operations Team and surveyors on all quality-related matters.
· Perform in-house testing for moisture content using specialized moisture analyzers.
· Interpret and document results to confirm that cargo meets acceptable moisture quality standards
· Conduct health risk assessments to identify and mitigate risks related to exposure to hazardous materials or unsafe conditions.
· Ensure safety briefing is conducted before the start of operations.
· Report any hazards or unsafe conditions via Oracle system.
· Monitor and ensure the rectification of all identified safety findings.
· Ensure safety practice, including PPE implementation and safe equipment handling.
· Ad-Hoc Tasks: Handle any other tasks as assigned by your immediate superior or HOD
