What you need to know
IMC’s Diploma in Nursing is a 3-year programme accredited by the Malaysian Nursing Board (MNB). The programme is tailored to equip students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to excel as competent registered nurses.

This sponsorship offers job placements at Pantai Hospitals, Gleneagles Hospitals and Prince Court Medical Centre, with benefits such as:
- Full sponsorship starting from Year 1, including registration fee, tuition fee, accommodation and transportation
- Uniform and shoes, book allowance and medical benefits are included
- Allowance of up to RM1,000 per month for 3 years of study at IMC
- Guaranteed employment for 5 years with a starting salary of RM2,000 to RM2,500
- Total sponsorship value is up to RM100,000
b) Other private hospitals (Fatimah Hospitals, Sunway Hospital, Island Hospital, KL Wellness, etc.)
IMC also partners with other private hospital sponsors across Malaysia, including Fatimah Hospitals, Sunway Medical Centre, Island Hospital, KL Wellness, Columbia Asia, Sri Kota Specialist Medical Centre and more. This sponsorship provides:
- Full sponsorship starting from Year 1, including registration fee, tuition fee, accommodation and transportation
- Uniform and shoes, book allowance and medical benefits are included
- Allowance of up to RM1,150 per month for 3 years of study at IMC
- Guaranteed employment for 5 years with a starting salary of RM2,000 to RM2,500
- Total sponsorship value is up to RM100,000
c) IHH Healthcare Singapore
The sponsorship from IHH Healthcare Singapore provides you with career opportunities in Singapore at renowned hospitals such as Parkway Hospitals, Parkway East Hospital, Mount Elizabeth Hospital and Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital. Through the sponsorship, you’ll enjoy:
- Full sponsorship starting from 2nd semester, including registration fee, tuition fee, accommodation and transportation
- Uniform and shoes, book allowance and medical benefits are included
- Allowance of up to RM1,000 per month for your duration of study at IMC
- Employed as a Patient Care Assistant at sponsor hospitals while awaiting the Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia (LJM) examination or Annual Practising License to be issued by MNB
- Temporary hostel upon graduation while you look for your accommodation
- Receive a 1-month salary advance upon commencement as a staff nurse (the amount will be deducted monthly over a year from your monthly salary)
- Guaranteed employment for 5 years with a starting salary of SGD3,000++
- Total sponsorship value is up to RM120,000
d) Ministry of Health (MOH) Singapore
The sponsorship from the Ministry of Health (MOH) Singapore provides you with a pathway to work abroad in Singapore such as in the National Healthcare Group, National University Hospital and Singapore General Hospital (Singhealth).
- Full sponsorship starting from Year 2, including registration fee, tuition fee, accommodation and transportation
- Uniform and shoes, book allowance and medical benefits are included
- Allowance up to SGD4,550 (~RM15,105) per semester for the final 2 years of your study at IMC
- Employed as a Patient Care Assistant at sponsor hospitals while awaiting the Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia (LJM) examination or Annual Practising License to be issued by MNB
- Temporary hostel upon graduation while you look for your accommodation
- Receive a 1-month salary advance upon commencement as a staff nurse (the amount will be deducted monthly over a year from your monthly salary)
- Guaranteed employment for 4 years with a starting salary of SGD3,000++
- Total sponsorship value is up to SGD27,300 (~RM90,630)
What are the requirements
You must meet the following requirements to apply for sponsorship for a Diploma in Nursing in IMC:
- Must be a Malaysian citizen
- Must achieve a minimum requirement of 3 credits in Bahasa Melayu, Mathematics and one Science subject (Science / Biology / Physics / Chemistry), and a pass in 2 subjects including English
- Must be certified as physically and mentally fit by a medical practitioner
- Must be proficient in English
- Must be able to provide 2 guarantors
