• SPM / O-Level: 5 credits with Bs in Mathematics/Add Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.
• Other qualifications deemed equivalent to SPM/O-Level by Malaysian Qualifications Agency
  • Overall average of 65% (including individual scores of 65% in Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Mathematics)

Note: *Subject to acceptance by professional bodies (Malaysian Medical Council and Malaysian Pharmacy Board)

• Candidates with either one of the qualifications below are exempted from SE004 Basic English and SE005 English Foundation:
  • UEC English Language: Grade of A2
  • MUET: Band 2
  • TOEFL: 30-31
  • IELTS: 4.0
  • O-Level/IGCSE/SPM English 1119: Grade C
  • CEFR: Grade B1 (with at least 2 skills at B1)
  • Cambridge English Qualification: 140
  • Cambridge Linguaskill: 140
  • Pearson Test: 36
• Candidates who scored lower than B+ in SPM English Language or than the above requirement will have to take the SE004 Basic English subject before taking the SE005 English Foundation subject in the foundation year.
• Other equivalent qualification can be exempted on case-by-case basis.
