Taylor’s Applied Health Sciences Discovery Day (22 Aug 2025)

Thinking of pursuing breakthrough careers in fields like neuroscience, genetics and embryology?

This 22 August 2025, learn more about the Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences (Honours) degree at Taylor’s University at their Applied Health Sciences Discovery Day. The event will feature a series of hands-on activities designed to give you a preview of the programme’s four exciting specialisations, namely Neuroscience, Nutrition, Genetics and Embryology.

Kickstart your discovery with a hands-on introduction to the world of genetics by extracting your own DNA and getting it made into a keychain keepsake. Then, challenge your mind with interactive neuroscience games that are designed to show you how the brain works. There’s also a fun quiz at the Smart Nutrition Booth where you can get a personalised nutrition profile and find out how genes influence your diet. And finally, don’t forget to explore the microscopic wonders of real stem cell and sperm cell samples through the lens of a microscope.

That’s not all. There will also be a sharing session from Taylor’s students, as well as 1-on-1 counselling, where you’ll receive personalised guidance on education pathways, scholarships and career opportunities. There will also be light refreshments, and you’ll also get to take home an exclusive goodie bag.
