Entry Requirements
Track A:
- Quantity Surveying:
- SPM: 5 credits in the relevant subjects which must include Credit in one mathematics subject AND Credit in Bahasa Melayu/Malay Language OR English Language where minimum Pass in the other subject is required
- O Level: 5 Grade C in the relevant subjects which must include Grade C in one mathematics subject AND Grade C in Bahasa Melayu/Malay Language OR English Language where minimum Grade E (Pass) in the other subject is required
- UEC: 3 Grade B in the relevant subjects which must include Grade B in one mathematics subject AND Grade B in Bahasa Melayu/Malay Language OR English Language where minimum Grade C in the other subject is required
- Construction Management & Real Estate Management:
- SPM: 5 credits in the relevant subjects which must include Credit in one mathematics subject# AND Pass in English Language**
- O Level: 5 Grade C in the relevant subjects which must include Grade C in one mathematics subject AND Grade E (Pass) in English Language**

- Hospitality Management & Social Science:

- Students who do not have at least a pass in English Language (SPM/O Level/UEC) must attend TAR UMT Essential English Skills course during their first semester in the programme
- Humanities:
- SPM: 5 credits in the relevant subjects which must include, Credit in English Language
- O Level: 5 Grade C in the relevant subjects which must include, Grade C in English Language
- UEC: 3 Grade B in the relevant subjects which must include, Grade B in English Language
- Social Science:
- SPM: 5 credits in the relevant subjects which must include, Credit in one mathematics subject# and one relevant science subject^ AND Pass in English Language

- Creative Arts:
- SPM: 5 Credits in the relevant subjects AND Pass a specified portfolio test conducted by TAR UMT
- O Level: 5 Grade C in the relevant subjects AND Pass a specified portfolio test conducted by TAR UMT
- UEC: 3 Grade B in the relevant subjects AND Pass a specified portfolio test conducted by TAR UMT
- Students who do not have at least a pass in English Language (SPM/O Level/UEC) must attend TAR UMT Essential English Skills course during their first semester in the programme
** Grade C and above in English Language conducted by TAR UMT is accepted as having fulfilled the English Language requirement for applicants who fail English Language at SPM/O Level/UEC.
#Grade B and above in General Mathematics conducted by TAR UMT is accepted as having fulfilled the Mathematics requirement for applicants with a pass in SPM/Grade D or Grade E (pass) in O Level/Grade C in UEC in the required Mathematics subject.
Note:
- a) SPM holders must have at least a pass in Bahasa Melayu and SPM holders from the year 2013 onwards must also have at least a pass in Sejarah.
- b) Equivalent qualifications other than the above will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- c) Subject to the Ministry of Higher Education’s latest requirements.

- IELTS: Band Score 6.0
- MUET: Band 4.0
- LINGUASKILL: Average Score 169
- Or equivalent is required for progression to Bachelor Degree
