Notes:
- * Bahasa Kebangsaan A is compulsory for students without Credit in Bahasa Malaysia at SPM level.

Entry Requirements
- SPM: 3 Credits in the relevant subjects AND Pass a specified portfolio test conducted by TAR UMT
- O Level: 3 Grade C in the relevant subjects AND Pass a specified portfolio test conducted by TAR UMT
- UEC: 3 Grade B in the relevant subjects AND Pass a specified portfolio test conducted by TAR UMT
- Certificate:
- Relevant certificate accredited by MQA OR
- Relevant Skilled/Technical/Vocational Certificate recognised by the Malaysian Government
Compulsory subject:
- SPM, O Level and UEC: Students who do not have at least a pass in English Language (SPM/O Level/UEC) must attend TAR UMT Essential English Skills course during their first semester in the programme.
- SPM, O Level, UEC and Certificate must pass a specified portfolio test to be conducted by TAR UMT.
Notes:
- a) SPM holders must have at least a pass in Bahasa Melayu and SPM holders from the year 2013 onwards must also have at least a pass in Sejarah.
- b) Students without a credit in SPM Bahasa Melayu are required to pass Bahasa Kebangsaan A before the award of their Diploma.
- c) Equivalent qualifications or qualifications from other Institutions of Higher Learning (IHL) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- d) Subject to the Ministry of Higher Education’s latest requirements.
