Entry Requirements
- STPM: Grade C in 3 relevant subjects listed in Schedule A AND SPM Credit in one Mathematics subject.
- A Level: Grade D in 3 relevant subjects listed in Schedule A which must include Mathematics/Mathematics-Further/Further Mathematics/Pure Mathematics
- UEC: Grade B in 5 relevant subjects which must include one mathematics subject and 4 other subjects listed in Schedule A.
- Other IHL: Relevant Foundation (with minimum CGPA 2.5000) / Diploma accredited by MQA# AND SPM Credit/ O Level Grade C/ UEC Grade B in one mathematics subject
- TAR UMT: Foundation in Arts (Track A) (with minimum CGPA 2.5000) OR Relevant Diploma#
Schedule A
- STPM Qualification: Geografi, Ekonomi, Perakaunan, Mathematics (M), Mathematics (T), Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Information and Communications Technology (ICT), Pengajian Perniagaan, Pengajian Am, Bahasa Melayu, Sejarah and any other relevant technical subjects.
- A-Level Qualification: Applied Information and Communication Technology, Computer Science, Law, Psychology, Sociology, Geography, Economics, Accounting, Pure Mathematics, Mathematics, Mathematics-Further/Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computing, Business Studies and any other relevant technical subjects.
- UEC Qualification: Malay Language, English Language, Chinese Language, History, Geography, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Advanced Mathematics, Advanced Mathematics (I), Advanced Mathematics (II), Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computing and Information Technology, Business Studies, Book Keeping and Accounts and any other relevant technical subjects.
Compulsory subjects:
- STPM, A Level, UEC, TAR UMT and Other IHL qualifications must include SPM Credit/ O Level Grade C/ UEC Grade B in Bahasa Melayu/Malay Language OR English Language where minimum SPM pass/O Level Grade E (Pass)/UEC Grade C in the other subject is required.
# Students who have completed a Diploma in Quantity Surveying with a minimum CGPA of 2.6700 may be considered for advanced entry into the Bachelor of Quantity Surveying (Honours) at TAR UMT.
Notes:
- a) Students without a credit in SPM Bahasa Melayu are required to pass Bahasa Kebangsaan A before the award of their Bachelor Degree. This is applicable for students who have at least O Level Grade C or UEC Grade B in Malay Language but did not take SPM Bahasa Melayu.
- b) Equivalent qualifications or qualifications from other Institutions of Higher Learning (IHL) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- c) Subject to the Ministry of Higher Education’s latest requirements.
