Entry Requirements
Entry into different STEM fields require specific achievements, subject to the programme's entry requirements
IT and Information Systems
- SPM / SPMV / O Level: Minimum Credit in five (5) subjects, including Mathematics
- UEC: Minimum grade B in three (3) subjects, including Mathematics
Built Environment
- SPM / SPMV / O Level: Pass with minimum Credit in five (5) subjects, including Mathematics
- UEC: Minimum grade B in three (3) subjects, including Mathematics
Computer Science
- SPM / SPMV / O Level: Minimum credit in five (5) subjects, including Additional Mathematics OR Maths and any one (1) science, technology or engineering subject OR its equivalent
- UEC: Minimum grade B in three (3) subjects, including Additional Mathematics and any one (1) science, technology or engineering subject
Allied Health Sciences
- SPM / SPMV / O Level: Minimum credit in 5 subjects, including 3 from the following of Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and/or English
- UEC: Minimum grade B in any three (3) from the following subjects of Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and/or English
Engineering
- SPM / SPMV / O Level: Minimum Credit in five (5) subjects, including Mathematics and one physical science subject
- UEC: Minimum grade B in three (3) subjects, including Mathematics and one physical science subject
Medicine / Dentistry
- SPM / SPMV / O Level: Minimum grade B in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics OR Additional Mathematics and any one (1) subject
- UEC:
- Medicine: Minimum grade B4 in three (3) subjects, including Biology, Chemistry and Physics / Mathematics / Additional Mathematics
- Dentistry: Minimum grade B4 in four (4) subjects, including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics / Additional Mathematics and any one (1) subject
Pharmacy
