ACCA FIA stands for ACCA Foundation in Accountancy, a direct pathway for you to pursue an ACCA qualification which will lead you to a career as a Chartered Certified Accountant.

The ACCA FIA qualification will equip you with a strong foundation in accounting skills and knowledge needed to solve basic accounting problems and provide accounting support. There will also be a series of professional examinations that you will need to pass.

In order to pursue an ACCA FIA qualification, you will need to have at least an SPM qualification or an equivalent qualification.

The minimum requirements that you’ll need to meet are at least 5 credits (C and above) including English and Mathematics at SPM, O-Level or equivalent.

An ACCA FIA qualification usually takes 1 year to complete.

Upon completing an ACCA FIA qualification, you can continue on to pursue an ACCA qualification or take 2 specialist papers with ACCA to be a Certified Accounting Technician.
