The QS World University Rankings 2020 is out! This is where the world’s best educational institutions are thrown into the ring to fight for the top spots.
Yet again, top-notch American university Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) emerges as champion for a record-breaking 8th year in a row. Stanford University and Harvard University continue holding onto last year’s impressive 2nd and 3rd rank respectively.
On the Malaysian side, local universities shot up the rankings, with University Malaya (UM) claiming the 70th spot in the Top 100 universities in the world! This is a huge improvement from their 87th placement in last year’s rankings.
