To support Malaysia’s goal to have 20,000 data professionals by the next decade, Heriot-Watt University (HWUM) has launched an RM2.6 million-worth three-year scholarship programme named Data Futures Scholarship. Thanks to this scholarship, deserving high-achieving students interested in pursuing Heriot-Watt’s BSc (Hons) Statistical Data Science course will stand the chance to get a 100% or 50% tuition fee waiver.

What you need to know
This scholarship is offered in partnership with Heriot-Watt’s industry partners; Experian, Fusionex International and PPG. Scholars will benefit from mentoring programmes and opportunities offered by these partners.
The scholarship is open to Malaysians who need financial assistance to study a Statistical Data Science Degree. To be eligible, students need a minimum of 2As and 1B ( including an A in Mathematics) for A-Level or STPM.
All qualified applicants will be required to attend an interview on 15 and 16 August 2019.
