Are you a UEC student looking for a scholarship to fund your studies? Well, do we have great news for you!

The UTAR-UEC Scholarship offered by Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) is currently open for application. Here’s your chance to study one of UTAR’s many great programmes without having to worry about money. Who says going to college should cost you an arm and a leg?

What you need to know

The scholarship is open to all UEC students with a minimum of 5Bs in relevant subjects. Those who hail from lower income families will be prioritised.

At the time of application, you must have already secured admission to any of UTAR’s bachelor’s degree programmes. The scholarship is not available for programmes from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, namely Medicine, Chinese Medicine, Nursing and Physiotherapy.

Your application must also come with a recommendation from the headmaster or principal of your school.

How to apply

You can apply online through UTAR Student Portal. Simply head over to the Scholarship and Student Loan Online Application segment under the Information Gateway menu.
