Course Highlights

A comprehensive curriculum designed to provide you with knowledge and experience in areas such as medical nutrition therapy (MNT), basic medical sciences, nutrition and food science, as well as equipping you with clinical and research skills
Opportunity to collaborate with healthcare professionals in clinical environments, engage with various populations, and hone communication and counselling abilities that enable people to adopt healthier lifestyle choices
Undergo clincal, food service and community training at selected private or public hospitals, health clinics and centres to learn real world scenarios that would in turn make you a competent dietician
Experienced lecturers will deliver lectures, tutorials and practicals, while clinical instructors will guide you during clinical placements

Course Structure

Pre-University or STPM:
- Overall CGPA 2.50 with minimum GPA 2.33 in TWO of the following subjects:
  - Biology
  - Physics/Mathematics
  - Chemistry
A-Level:
- Minimum Grade C+ in TWO of the following subjects:
  - Biology
  - Physics/Mathematics
  - Chemistry
UEC:
- Pass with minimum Grade B in five (5) subjects, including any two (2) of the following subjects::
  - Biology
  - Physics/Mathematics
  - Chemistry
Foundation and Matriculation:
- Overall CGPA 2.50 with minimum GPA 2.33 in two (2) of the following subjects:
  - Biology
  - Physics/Mathematics
  - Chemistry
International Baccalaureate (IB):
- 26 points, including two (2) of the following subjects:
  - Biology
  - Physics/Mathematics
  - Chemistry
Other International Qualifications:
- Overall CGPA 2.50 with minimum GPA 2.33 in two (2) of the following subjects:
  - Biology
  - Physics/Mathematics
  - Chemistry
Diploma:
- Minimum CGPA of 2.75 in a related field OR recognised Diploma with CGPA less than 2.75 in related field and a minimum of 3 years (36 months) working experience in the related field.
