Entry Requirements
- STPM: Grade C in Mathematics and 1 relevant Natural Science subject
- A Level: Grade D in Mathematics and 1 relevant Natural Science subject
- UEC: Grade B in 5 subjects including Mathematics and 1 relevant Natural Science subject
- SAM: Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) 70 and Grade B in Mathematics and 1 relevant Natural Science subject
- CPU: Average of 70% in 2 Mathematics subjects, 1 relevant Natural Science subject and 3 other subjects
- International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma: :
- Diploma with a minimum of 24 points (excluding bonus points) and obtained a minimum of 4 points each in 1 Natural Science subject and Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation/ Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches
- UTAR Foundation in Science/Matriculation/Foundation from other Higher Learning Institutions or Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in relevant field:
- Minimum CGPA of 2.00
- Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government
- SPM English Language/O Level English Language: Credit Grade C
- UEC English Language: Grade B
- MUET: Band 3
- IELTS: 5.0
- TOEFL iBT: 40(iBT) /7.5(Essentials)

- Those who do not meet the above English language requirements but obtain a pass in English language at SPM level / equivalent are required to take the English Enhancement Programme and pass at the English Levels 7 & 8 before joining the Bachelor's degree programme.
