• STPM: Pass STPM with minimum Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in any 2 subjects and credit (Grade C) in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.
• STAM: Pass STAM with minimum grade of Jayyid in any 2 subjects including a credit (Grade C) in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent
• A Level: Pass A Level with minimum Grade D in any 2 subjects and a credit (Grade C) in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent
• Foundation / Matriculation: Pass Matriculation with minimum CGPA of 2.00 and credit (Grade C) in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.
• Diploma in Computing Field: Pass Diploma with minimum CGPA of 2.50
  Candidates with CGPA below 2.50 but more than 2.00 may be admitted subject to thorough internal evaluation process
• Diploma in Non-Computing Field: Pass Diploma with minimum CGPA of 2.75
  Candidates with CGPA below 2.75 but more than 2.50 may be admitted subject to a thorough internal evaluation process
• DVM / DKM / DLKM: Pass with minimum CGPA of 2.50 or its equivalent.
• UEC: Pass UEC with minimum of Grade B in any 5 subjects including Mathematics, English and 1 Science/ICT subject
• International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB): Pass IB Diploma with total points of 24 including Mathematics and a credit (Grade C) in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.
• SAM/SACE/WACE/AUSMAT/Oversea Preparatory Programme/Australian Capital Territory (Year 12)/VCE: Pass with a minimum of Grade C (or 60%) and a credit (Grade C) in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent
• ADTP: Pass ADTP with CGPA 2.00 in 2 years 
• Others: Other equivalent qualifications recognised by Government of Malaysia.

Notes:

• Candidates with a pass (Grade E) in Mathematics at the SPM/ equivalent can be accepted but need to take the reinforcement Mathematics course offered in the Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology Program.
• Candidates can be admitted if their admission qualification contains Mathematics subject (s) equivalent to Mathematics at the SPM level. If it is not equivalent, the reinforcement Mathematics subject equivalent to the SPM level must be offered in first semester or before enrolment with unconditional offer

For Malaysian Students:

• MUET: Achieve Band 1 and above
  Malaysian students may enrol without MUET. However, students are required to complete MUET during duration of study (before graduation)
• IELTS: 5.0 and above
• TOEFL: 500 and above
• TOEFL Internet Based Test: 42 and above

For International Students:

• MUET: Achieve Band 3.5 and above
• IELTS: Achieve 5.0 and above
• TOEFL: Achieve 500 (TOEFL) or 42 (TOEFL Internet Based Test) and above

Note: 

• International students are required to have one of the English proficiency scores stated above to enrol in UNITEN. Diploma students who do not fulfil this English requirement are required to sit for the Intensive English Programme (IEP) and pass the requirement above before starting their Diploma programme.
