- By studying various aspects of Sport Management such as Facilities and Equipment Management, Sport Finance, Sport Marketing, Event Management, Human Resource Management as well as Sport Law, you will have strong and adequate knowledge to make a difference
- This student-centred programme will allow you to follow an interdisciplinary programme in line with the national sports development agenda and provide you with the know-how, knowledge and skills to be a competent sports manager
- You will be able to critically evaluate local and international sports issues, as well as display professional social skills, perceptions, opinions and attitudes in the management of sports organisations
- Method of delivery is through a combination of teaching approaches such as face-to-face theory lecture sessions, tutorial and group discussions, field work, written assignments, presentations and industrial training

Entry Requirements
- STPM (Science and Art Stream):
- Malaysian citizen
- Obtain a minimum CGPA of 3.00
- Obtained at least Grade B- in TWO (2) subjects at STPM level
- Matriculation / Foundation (Science Stream):
- Malaysian citizen
- Obtain a minimum CGPA of 3.00
- Obtained at least Grade B- in TWO (2) subjects at Matriculation/Foundation level
- Diploma / Equivalent (Science Stream):
- Malaysian citizen
- Possess a Diploma from a Public University (IPTA) / ILKA / Polytechnic /IPTS or other qualifications recognized by the Government of Malaysia and approved by the Senate of the University Malaya, with a minimum CGPA of 3.00.
- Obtained at least Grade B- in TWO (2) subjects at Diploma level
- UM SATU Foundation:
- Malaysian citizen
- Obtain a minimum CGPA of 3.00
- Obtained at least Grade B- in TWO (2) subjects at UM SATU Foundation level
- GCE A-Level:
- Malaysian citizen
- Obtain a recognized GCE A-Level qualification
- Obtained at least Grade B in TWO (2) subjects at GCE A-level;
- International Baccalaureate (IB):
- Malaysian citizen
- Obtain a minimum score of 30 points
- Obtained at least Grade 5 (HL) / 6 (SL) in TWO (2) subjects at IB level

- Special Channel for Top-Level Athletes:
- Malaysian citizen
- Obtained at least Grade C in subjects Mathematics at the SPM level
- Obtained at least Grade C in subjects Mathematics at the O-level/IGCSE level
Additional Requirement:
- Active in sports by providing evidence of experience or involvement in the field, and having at least represented the state/national level or having been a former athlete/referee/team manager
- Certified to be free from serious physical disabilities and mental illnesses, serious infectious diseases, and has never been convicted of any criminal activity that would have implications as a medical practitioner. Failure to provide valid and accurate information, especially regarding one’s health status as a future medical practitioner, may result in the application being rejected and/or termination of studies in this field.
- Obtain a minimum of Band 3.0 in MUET for examinations starting from Session 1 of the year 2021, or Band 3.0 for examinations up to the year 2020, according to the validity period on the date of application
- Applicants without MUET but with the following results may be considered for conditional admission, provided they fulfil MUET requirement within ONE (1) academic session:
- Obtain at least Band 4.5 (Academic) in IELTS; or
- Obtain a minimum score of 33 in TOEFL iBT (Centre-based)
