Entry Requirements
- A Level:
- Minimum Grade C in Chemistry and Biology/Physics/Mathematics.
- Pass SPM or equivalent with minimum three (3) credits including Mathematics, Chemistry and one any other subject. The credit requirement at SPM level can be waived should the grades obtained at the STPM/A Level/Diploma/Matriculation/Foundation level are equivalent/higher.
- STPM:
- CGPA 2.00 and above with minimum of Grade C (GPA 2.00) in Chemistry and Biology/Physics/Mathematics.
- Pass SPM or equivalent with minimum three (3) credits including Mathematics, Chemistry and one any other subject. The credit requirement at SPM level can be waived should the grades obtained at the STPM/A Level/Diploma/Matriculation/Foundation level are equivalent/higher.
- Matriculation or Pre-Study in Medicine and Pharmacy:
- CGPA 2.00 and above with minimum of Grade C in Chemistry and Biology/Physics/Mathematics.
- Pass SPM or equivalent with minimum three (3) credits including Mathematics, Chemistry and one any other subject.
- The credit requirement at SPM level can be waived should the grades obtained at the STPM/A Level/Diploma/Matriculation/Foundation level are equivalent/higher.
- Foundation in Sciences:
- CGPA of 2.0 and above with minimum Grade C in Chemistry and Biology/Physics/Mathematics.
- Pass SPM or equivalent with minimum three (3) credits including Mathematics, Chemistry and one any other subject
- The credit requirement at SPM level can be waived should the grades obtained at the STPM/A Level/Diploma/Matriculation/Foundation level are equivalent/higher.
- Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Degree/Equivalent:
- CGPA 2.00 and above with minimum of Grade C in Chemistry and Biology/Physics/Mathematics.
- The credit requirement at SPM level can be waived should the grades obtained at the STPM/A Level/Diploma/Matriculation/Foundation level are equivalent/higher.
- UEC:
- Minimum Grade B in 5 subjects, including Chemistry,
- Biology/Physics/Mathematics, and any other three subjects.
- SAM/WAEC/NECO/Candian Pre-u: Aggregate 60% inclusive of Chemistry and Biology/Physics/Mathematics.
- International Baccalaureate(IB): Minimum score of 26/42 in 6 subjects including Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics/Physics.
- Other qualifications deemed equivalents to STPM/A Level by Malaysian Qualification Agency: Aggregate 60% inclusive of Chemistry and Biology/Physics/Mathematics.
- MUET: Band 3
- SPM/O Level/IGCSE English: Grade B+
- SPM English 1119: Grade C
- UEC English Language: Grade A2
- IELTS: Band 5.0
- TOEFL IBT: 40
- SPM/O Level/IGCSE/UEC Bahasa Malaysia: Grade C+
- In the event that the English language requirements are not met, applicants will be required to take the Basic English and English Foundation for in-sessional academic enhancement concurrently with the programme.
