Entry Requirements

  • STPM: Grade C in 2 relevant subjects
  • A Level: Grade D in 2 relevant subjects
  • UEC: Grade B in 5 relevant subjects
  • TAR UMT: Foundation in Arts (Track C) or Relevant Diploma
  • Other IHL: Relevant Foundation/ Diploma accredited by MQA

Compulsory subject:

  • STPM, A Level, UEC, TAR UMT and Other IHL qualifications must include SPM Credit/ O Level Grade C/ UEC Grade B in English Language#
  • # Grade B and above in English Language conducted by TAR UMT is accepted as having fulfilled the English Language requirement for applicants with a pass in SPM/Grade D or Grade E (Pass) in O Level/Grade C in UEC in the required English Language subject.

Note:

  • a) Students without a credit in SPM Bahasa Melayu are required to pass Bahasa Kebangsaan A before the award of their Bachelor Degree.
  • b) TAR UMT Diploma will be accepted on credit transfer into Bachelor Degree programmes.
  • c) Equivalent qualifications or qualifications from other Institutions of Higher Learning (IHL) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • d) Subject to the Ministry of Higher Education’s latest requirements.
