About Riam Institute of Technology (RIAMTEC)

Riam Institute of Technology was founded in 1997 as a non-profit private college with support from the Sarawak State Government and the Sarawak Chinese Chamber of Commerce. In 2003, RIAMTEC attained its status as a private institution of higher education. Managed by the Board of Directors of Riam Educational Sdn Bhd, RIAMTEC has grown from its vocational college roots to a comprehensive tertiary education institution.

Located in Miri, Sarawak, RIAMTEC offers a diverse range of Diploma and TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) programmes in fields such as Engineering, Business, Health Science, Hospitality and Culinary. With the aim to provide students with opportunities for both academic and practical learning, RIAMTEC ensures students are equipped with the knowledge and expertise necessary for their future.

Situated in Miri, RIAMTEC is only 7 minutes from Miri Airport and Miri Hospital, with Tanjung Lobang Beach a mere 10-minute drive away. The campus is also close to various amenities such as shopping malls, grocery stores and restaurants.
