• SPM:
  • Pass with at least a Credit in 5 subjects
• O-Level: 
  • Pass with at least a Grade C in 5 subjects
• UEC:
  • Pass with at least a Grade B in three (3) subjects; or its equivalent 

For progression to the Degree program in specialised fields, students are required to have a credit in relevant subjects at the SPM level or an equivalent.

Medicine

• SPM*/O Level: 5Bs (Including Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics/Additional Mathematics and one other subject)
• UEC: A pass with at least Grade B4 in 3 subjects including Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics/Additional Mathematics

Dentistry:

• SPM*/O Level: 5Bs (Including Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics/Additional Mathematics and one other subject)
• UEC: A pass with at least Grade B4 in 4 subjects including Biology, Chemistry, Physics/Mathematics/Additional Mathematics and one other subject

Pharmacy

• SPM*/O Level: 5Bs (Including Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics/Additional Mathematics and one other subject). Compulsory pass in Bahasa Melayu and English by obtaining at least grade C in SPM or equivalent.

Allied Health Science:

• SPM*/O Level: 5Cs (including Biology, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry)
• UEC: 3Bs (including Biology, Physics/Mathematics and Chemistry) 

Engineering:

• SPM*/O Level: 5Cs (including Mathematics and Physics as well as 3 other subjects or other equivalent qualifications)
• UEC: 3Bs (including Mathematics and Physics as well as 1 other subject or other equivalent qualification)

Built Environment:

• SPM*/O Level: 5Cs (including Mathematics or other equivalent qualifications)
• UEC: 3Bs (including Mathematics or other equivalent qualifications) 

Other field of Science:

• SPM*/O Level: 5Cs (including Mathematics and 2 Science subjects)
• UEC: 3Bs (including Mathematics and 2 Science subjects or other equivalent qualifications)

Other qualifications recognised as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia are also accepted

*Must include a pass in Bahasa Melayu and History (Sejarah)
