Prerequisites:
- Credit in Mathematics (Australian Year 11 equivalent).
The following English proficiency tests are accepted:
- IELTS (Academic) / IELTS One Skill Retake (Academic) / IELTS Online: Overall band score of 5.5 with no band less than 5.0
- TOEFL iBT / TOEFL iBT Paper Edition: A total score of 46 with 14 in Writing and Speaking, and 4 in Listening and Reading
- Pearson Test of English (Academic): Overall score of 47 with no Communicative Skills lower than 36
- C1 Advanced/C2 Proficiency: Overall score of 162 with no skill score lower than 154
Tests must be taken within 24 months prior to course commencement.
- Monash University does not accept TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition, Pearson Test of English (Academic) Online and Cambridge Linguaskill General as satisfying the English entry requirement for any Monash course.
