- UEC: 5Bs in any subjects OR
- STPM or its equivalent: A pass with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.0) in two subjects OR
- STAM: A pass with a minimum grade of Jayyid (good) OR
- Diploma (Level 4, MQF): A pass minimum of CGPA of 2.00 OR
- Matriculation/Foundation qualification or its equivalent: A pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 OR
- Diploma (Level 4, MQF) or equivalent: Minimum of CGPA of 2.00 OR
- Advanced Diploma (Level 5, MQF): At least CGPA OF 2.00 OR
- Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM): Subjected to HEP Senate / Academic Board’s approval* OR
- Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM): Subjected to HEP Senate / Academic Board’s approval* OR
- Canadian Pre-University (CPU): 60% in six advanced-level Grade 12 U, U/C or M subjects (including grade 12 U English) OR
- South Australia Matriculation (SAM): Pass with 70-80%; OR
- Other relevant and equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government
- And a credit in:
- Mathematics and English at SPM level or its equivalent
Note: The HEPs are to conduct screening and provide necessary guidance specific to the discipline of the programme
- MUET: Band 2 or equivalent
