Responsibilities:
Spare Parts Inventory Management
Manage and maintain optimal inventory levels of maintenance spare parts to support operational reliability and equipment uptime.
Forecast spare parts requirements based on equipment utilization, maintenance schedules, and historical consumption trends.
Monitor inventory performance, stock accuracy, and budget utilization to achieve cost-effective inventory management.
Procurement & Supplier Management
Source, evaluate, and develop qualified suppliers to ensure the availability of quality spare parts and maintenance materials.
Negotiate pricing, lead times, payment terms, and service agreements to optimize procurement value and supply continuity.
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier follow-up activities.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and governance requirements.
Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination
Track and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery of critical spare parts and maintenance supplies.
Coordinate inbound logistics activities, including freight arrangements, customs clearance, and shipping documentation.
Partner with warehouse and receiving teams to ensure timely inspection, receipt, and storage of purchased materials.
Maintenance & Technical Support
Collaborate closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams to identify spare parts requirements and support maintenance planning activities.
Provide technical support on spare parts specifications, material selection, and equipment compatibility.
Identify and recommend suitable alternatives for obsolete, discontinued, or superseded parts to minimize equipment downtime.
Support maintenance reliability initiatives by ensuring critical spare parts availability and effective lifecycle management.
Data Management, Reporting & Compliance
Maintain accurate and up-to-date material master data, spare parts records, and procurement information within SAP.
Prepare and analyze reports on inventory performance, supplier effectiveness, procurement activities, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, ethical, and quality standards in all procurement and inventory management activities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency, inventory optimization, and supply chain performance.
Develop, review, and update maintenance-related procedures and documentation in accordance with business requirements and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Professional certifications in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Inventory Management will be an added advantage.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in procurement, inventory management, supply chain operations, or maintenance spare parts management.
Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or maintenance environment is preferred.
Proven experience managing supplier relationships, inventory planning, and procurement processes.
Proficient in SAP and inventory management systems, with strong knowledge of procurement and materials planning processes.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
Familiarity with spare parts management, material master data maintenance, and inventory optimization techniques.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and support informed business decisions.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and planning skills.
