So what is the average wage today?
Well, according to the 2019 Salaries and Wages Survey Report released by the Department of Statistics Malaysia, the average salary in Malaysia is RM3,224, an increase of 4.4% compared to 2018. Unsurprisingly, those who hold a tertiary education qualification have 44% higher salaries than the national average.
