Taylor's in Top 30 of QS Asia University Rankings 2026

Taylor’s University has once again proven why it stands among Asia’s best, achieving a remarkable milestone by breaking into the Top 30 universities in Asia. Now ranked 27th in the QS Asia University Rankings 2026, Taylor’s continues to reach greater heights as Southeast Asia’s leading private university for the fifth year and counting.

This new achievement represents years of focused effort in areas that truly matter for higher education today. The institution made impressive strides in various key indicators, with exceptional progress in Academic Reputation, Citations per Paper, and International Research Network, all key indicators of a university’s impact and influence on the global academic stage.

Professor Barry Winn, Vice-Chancellor and President of Taylor’s University, expressed his pride in how far the institution has come. “The continuous rise in our ranking reflects our commitment to quality education. We are dedicated to delivering excellence through a purposeful approach, ensuring every initiative, partnership and innovation is aligned with our mission to foster personal growth, societal impact and sustainable development,” he said.

Adding to its list of accomplishments, Taylor’s University was also recently awarded Self-Accreditation Status by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), an honour endorsed by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia. This recognition, held by only 20 institutions nationwide, gives Taylor’s the authority to accredit its own programmes, proving to be a strong vote of confidence in its academic standards and quality assurance.

Beyond rankings and titles, Taylor’s success is also reflected in its graduates. According to 2024 data from the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, the institution maintains an impressive 99.5% graduate employment rate, which surpasses the national average of 92.5%. This achievement demonstrates the real-world value of an education at Taylor’s and the strong demand for its graduates in today’s competitive job market.

From its academic excellence to its global outlook and exceptional graduate outcomes, Taylor’s continues to raise the bar for higher education in the region, proving that a strong commitment to quality, innovation, and impact truly pays off.
