What you need to know
IMC’s Diploma in Nursing is a 3-year programme that’s recognised by the Malaysian Nursing Board (MNB) and is designed to prepare students to become competent registered nurses.
Here’s the list of IMC’s hospital partners and the details of their sponsorship:
a) Pantai-Gleneagles and Prince Court Hospitals
This sponsorship will provide you with job opportunities at Pantai Hospitals, Gleneagles Hospitals and Prince Court Medical Centre. The benefits include:
- Full sponsorship from Year 1, including registration and tuition fees, accommodation and transportation for clinical posting
- Uniform and shoes, book allowance and medical benefits
- Free laptop from IMC
- Allowance of up to RM1,000 each month for all 3 years of your study
- Guaranteed employment for 5 years with a starting salary of RM2,000 to RM2,500++
- Total sponsorship value is up to RM100,000
b) Other private hospitals in Malaysia
IMC also partners with various private hospital sponsors in Malaysia which include Columbia Asia Hospitals, Sunway Medical Centre, Sri Kota Specialist Medical Centre, Island Hospital, Hospital Fatimah, Cardiac Vascular Sentral Kuala Lumpur and more. You will get:
- Full sponsorship from Year 1, including registration and tuition fees, accommodation and transportation for clinical posting
- Uniform and shoes, book allowance and medical benefits
- Free laptop from IMC
- Allowance between RM500 – RM1,500 each month for all 3 years of your study
- Guaranteed employment for 5 years with a starting salary of RM2,000 to RM2,500++
- Total sponsorship value is up to RM100,000
c) IHH Healthcare Singapore
The sponsorship by IHH Healthcare Singapore will enable you to work in Singapore at hospitals including Gleneagles Hospital, Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital and Parkway East Hospital.
- Full sponsorship from Semester 2 onwards
- Uniform and shoes, book allowance, and medical benefits are also included
- Free laptop from IMC
- Allowance of up to RM1,000 each month
- Temporary hostel upon graduation while looking for your own accommodation
- Guaranteed employment for 5 years with a starting salary of SGD3,000++
- Total sponsorship value is up to RM120,000
d) Private hospitals in partnership with Hong Leong Foundation for B40 students
To ease the burden of students from B40 groups, IMC offers a special scholarship in partnership with Hong Leong Foundation (HLF) to allow students to pursue their 3-year studies at IMC without having to worry about providing a guarantor. The hospital sponsors include Pantai Hospitals and Columbia Asia Hospitals.

What are the requirements
You are eligible to apply for sponsorship if you meet the following criteria:
- Malaysian citizen
- Meet the requirements of 5 credits in Mathematics, Science, Bahasa Malaysia and any other 2 subjects, and a pass in English
- Be certified as physically and mentally fit by a medical practitioner
- Have a good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
