• SIJIL PELAJARAN MALAYSIA (SPM)
  • Meet the GENERAL UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENTS: Pass the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / equivalent with credit in the Malay Language subject and pass the History subject AND SPECIFIC PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS.
  • Meet the General Requirements of the University and SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT OF PROGRAM: Obtain at least credits (Grade C) in TWO (2) of the following subjects:
    • Mathematics
    • ONE (1) from Pure Science / Applied Science / Technical
    • AND Pass in English OR
  • Meet the General Requirements of the University; and Special Requirements of the Program:
    • Obtained at least credits (Grade C) in TWO (2) of Pure Science / Applied Science /Technical
    • AND Pass in Mathematics 
    • AND Pass in English
  • Note: Candidates for admission from SPM graduates who passed but did not obtain a credit (Grade C) in Mathematics at SPM level must follow a bridging programme.
• POLYTECHNIC CERTIFICATE/SIJIL KOMUNITI (SKK) / / EQUIVALENT QUALIFICATION
  • Meet the GENERAL UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENTS: Pass the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / equivalent with credit in the Malay Language subject and pass the History subject AND SPECIFIC PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS.
  • Meet the General Requirements of the University and SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT OF PROGRAM: 
    • Possess a Polytechnic Certificate / Sijil Kolej Komuniti (SKK) / Certificate that is recognized as equivalent to MQF Level 3 and related to the Diploma program applied for with a minimum CGPA of 2.00
    • AND Credit (Grade C) for Mathematics at SPM/equivalent level
    • AND a pass in English Language at SPM/equivalent level.
  • Notes:
    • Candidates for Certificate leavers who do not have credits in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted if the Certificate programme contains Mathematics subjects equivalent to Mathematics at SPM level.
    • Candidates for Certificate leavers who pass but do not obtain at least a credit (grade C) in Mathematics at SPM and Certificate levels must follow a bridging programme.
• SIJIL KEMAHIRAN MALAYSIA (SKM)
  • Meet the GENERAL UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENTS: Pass the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / equivalent with credit in the Malay Language subject and pass the History subject AND SPECIFIC PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS.
  • Meet the General Requirements of the University and SPECIAL REQUIREMENT OF PROGRAM:  
    • Have a Malaysian Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) / Certificate that is recognized as equivalent in MQF Level 3 with a minimum CGPA of 2.00
    • AND Credit (Grade C) for Mathematics at SPM level / equivalent
    • AND a pass in English Language at SPM/equivalent level.
  • Notes:
    • Candidates for Certificate leavers who do not have credits in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted if the Certificate programme contains Mathematics subjects equivalent to Mathematics at SPM level.
    • Candidates for Certificate leavers who pass but do not obtain at least a credit (grade C) in Mathematics at SPM and Certificate levels must follow a bridging programme.
• SIJIL VOKASIONAL MALAYSIA (SVM)
  • Meet the GENERAL UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENTS: Having a Sijil Vokasional Malaysia (SVM) with at least credit in Malay Language (Code 1104) AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENT OF THE PROGRAM.
  • Meet the University's General Requirements and Specific REQUIREMENTS of the Program:
    • Possess a Sijil Vokasional Malaysia (SVM) in a field related to the applied Diploma program with at least a credit (Grade C) in Mathematics SVM
    • AND Obtained Academic CGPA ≥ 3.33; Obtained Vocational CGPA ≥ 3.67
    • AND Passed in the subject SVM History
    • AND Passed the English Language subject SVM.
  • Note: Candidates for SVM certificate graduates who pass but do not obtain at least a credit (Grade C) in Mathematics at the SVM level must follow a bridging program.
• O LEVEL
  • Meet the GENERAL UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENTS: Having a Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with at least credits including Malay Language / Malay Language July Paper AND SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT OF THE PROGRAM.
  • Meet the University's General Requirements and Specific REQUIREMENTS of the Program:
    • Possess GCE O Level qualification with at least a credit (Grade C) in any THREE (3) subjects including Mathematics and Pure Science / Applied Science /Technical
  • Note: Candidates for O Level graduates who pass but do not obtain at least a credit (grade C) in Mathematics at the GCE O Level level must follow a bridging programme.
• APEL A
  • Meet the GENERAL UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENTS: Pass the MQA APEL A assessment AND SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS PROGRAM
  • Meet the University's General Requirements; and Special Program Requirements:
    • Pass the MQA APEL A assessment (Aptitude Test and Portfolio Assessment);
    • Be not less than 20 years old in the year of application;
    • Have at least five (5) years of work experience in a related field;
    • and Pass the faculty-level interview.

Note: 

• Candidates must not have disabilities such as blindness / deafness / muteness / learning disabilities / paralysis / physical disabilities that make practical work difficult.
