*Required for students who do not meet the SPM Mathematics requirement: Grade B for Business School and Grade A- for the School of Economics. Optional for all other students.

Academic Requirements:

SPM/IGCSE: 5C's excluding Moral Studies and Religious Studies
A level: DDD, excluding critical thinking and general studies
UEC: 5 B6's, excluding Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese Language

Specific Requirements for Progression to Certain Programmes:

MPharm and BPharm: 5B's in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and either Mathematics or Additional Mathematics.
Engineering programmes:
- 5Cs, including Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, and Physics.
- Students without Additional Mathematics must have at least a B in Mathematics.
Mathematical Sciences and Computer Sciences Programmes
- 5Cs, including Mathematics and Additional Mathematics.
- Students without Additional Mathematics must have at least a B in Mathematics and a C in 1 Science, Technology, or Engineering subject.
Science Programmes: 5Cs, including Mathematics and 2 science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
Psychology:
- 5Cs, including Mathematics and 1 science subject. Students without a science subject must take the Psychology* module in foundation and achieve at least 50% for the module to progress.
Nottingham University Business School Programmes:
- 5Cs with at least a B in Mathematics. Students with a C in Mathematics must take and pass the Fundamental Mathematics* module to progress.
Economics Programmes:
- 5Cs with at least an A- in Mathematics. Students with a C in Mathematics must take the Fundamental Mathematics* module and achieve at least 45% to progress.

Without In-Sessional English Programme: CEFR Level B2 (including B2 in each element)

IGCSE (Second Language):

With In-Sessional English Programme: Grade B

IELS (Academic):
