Entry Requirements
- STPM: A minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in 2 subjects
- STAM: A minimum grade of Jayyid
- A Level: A minimum of Grade D in 2 subjects
- UEC: Grade B in 5 subjects
- SAM: Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) 70 and Grade B in 2 subjects
- CPU: Average 70% in 6 subjects
- International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma: Diploma with a minimum of 24 points (excluding bonus points)
- UTAR Foundation,Matriculation/Foundation from other Institutions of Higher Learning,Diploma (Level 4, MQF) Advanced Diploma (Level 5, MQF) in the relevant field:
- Minimum CGPA of 2.00
- Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government as equivalent to the above requirements
Malaysian applicants with STPM/UEC/qualifications not conducted fully in English must have a
- SPM: Credit in English language OR
- O-Level: Grade C in English OR
- UEC: Grade B in English OR
- MUET: Band 3.5 OR
- IELTS: Band 5.0 OR
- TOEFL: 40(iBT)/7.5(Essentials) / PTE 47 OR
- Cambridge English 154/100(OET)/ELS CIEP Level 107/HEET 6 (NOT applicable for A-Level/SAM/CPU or entry qualifications conducted fully in English BUT must have a pass in English language at SPM level / equivalent)
- Those who do not meet the above English language requirements but obtain a pass in English language at SPM level / equivalent are required to take the Intensive English Programme and pass CEFR B2 before joining the Bachelor's degree programme
