Course Highlights
- This programme aims to develop in-depth knowledge of and appreciation for the concepts and theories of psychology
- You will be provided with knowledge of psychology and understanding of the various applications of that knowledge

Entry Requirements
- STPM:
- 1. A minimum of Grade C in any 2 subjects
- 2. Credit in 1 Mathematics subject and 1 Science subject and a Pass in English at SPM level / equivalent qualification**
- STAM:
- 1. A minimum grade of Jayyid
- 2. Credit in 1 Mathematics subject and 1 Science subject and a Pass in English at SPM level / equivalent qualification**
- A Level:
- 1. A minimum of Grade D in any 2 subjects
- 2. Grade C in 1 Mathematics subject and 1 Science subject and a Pass in English at SPM / equivalent qualifciation**
- UEC:
- 1. Grade B in 5 subjects
- 2. Credit in 1 Mathematics subject and 1 Science subject and a Pass in English at SPM level / equivalent qualification**
- SAM:
- 1. Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) 70 and Grade B in any 2 subjects
- 2. Credit in 1 Mathematics subject and 1 Science subject and a Pass in English at SPM level / equivalent qualification**
- CPU:
- 1. An average of 70% in any 6 subjects
- 2. Credit in 1 Mathematics subject and 1 Science subject and a Pass in English at SPM level / equivalent qualification**
- International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma:
- 1. Diploma with a minimum of 24 points (excluding bonus points)
- 2. Credit in 1 Mathematics subject and 1 Science subject and a Pass in English at SPM level / equivalent qualification**
- TVET Diplomas: Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) / Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM)
- 1. Must be fully accredited by MQA
- 2. A minimum CGPA of 2.50 OR CGPA 2.00 with at least 2 years working experience in relevant field, subject to Senate / Academic Board’s approval
- 3. Applicants will be required to pass the admission screening process conducted by the faculty and take bridging courses in Mathematics and Science during the period of their study in addition to the existing curriculum structure
- 4. Credit transfer can be considered on a case-to-case basis and subject to existing credit transfer policies which are in effect
- Note: Must have a credit in 1 Mathematics subject and 1 Science subject and a Pass in English at SPM level / equivalent qualification**
- UTAR Foundation,Matriculation/Foundation from other Institutions of Higher Learning,Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in any field,Advanced Diploma (Level 5, MQF) in the relevant field:
- 1. Minimum CGPA of 2.00
- 2. Credit in 1 Mathematics subject and 1 Science subject and a Pass in English at SPM level / equivalent qualification**
- Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government as equivalent to the above requirements:
- Credit in 1 Mathematics subject and 1 Science subject and a Pass in English at SPM level / equivalent qualification**
Notes:
- **The credit requirement can be waived should any other higher qualifications contain Mathematics and Biology/ Physics/ Chemistry/ General Science/ Applied Science subjects with an equivalent / higher achievement.
- Applicants without a credit in SPM Mathematics / equivalent can be admitted but are required to take and pass Mathematics Enhancement Course (MEC) as a prerequisite to related core courses before joining the degree programme
- Applicants without a pass in SPM English / equivalent can be admitted but are required to take one of the English Proficiency Test as stated:

- Those who do not meet the above English language requirements but obtain a pass in English language at SPM level / equivalent are required to take the Intensive English Programme and pass CEFR B2 before joining the Bachelor's degree programme
