Entry Requirements

STPM
- 1. A minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in 2 subjects
- 2. Credit in Mathematics, 1 Science subject and 1 any other subject at SPM level / equivalent**
STAM
- 1. A minimum grade of Jayyid
- 2. Credit in Mathematics, 1 Science subject and 1 any other subject at SPM level / equivalent**
A-Level
- 1. A minimum of Grade D in 2 subjects
- 2. Credit in Mathematics, 1 Science subject and 1 any other subject at SPM level / equivalent**
UEC
- 1. Grade B in 5 subjects
- 2. Credit in Mathematics, 1 Science subject and 1 any other subject at SPM level / equivalent**
SAM
- 1. Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) 70 and Grade B in 2 subjects
- 2. Credit in Mathematics, 1 Science subject and 1 any other subject at SPM level / equivalent**
CPU
- 1. An average of 70% in 6 subjects
- 2. Credit in Mathematics, 1 Science subject and 1 any other subject at SPM level / equivalent**
International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma
- 1. Diploma with a minimum of 24 points (excluding bonus points)
- 2. Credit in Mathematics, 1 Science subject and 1 any other subject at SPM level / equivalent**
Foundation from UTAR/Matriculation or Foundation from other Institutions of Higher Learning:
- 1. Minimum CGPA of 2.00
- 2. Credit in Mathematics, 1 Science subject and 1 any other subject at SPM level / equivalent**
Diploma (Level 4, MQF) or its equivalent: Minimum CGPA of 2.00
Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government as equivalent to the above requirement

Note:

**The credit requirement at SPM Level can be waived should the grades obtained at STPM/ STAM/ Diploma/ Matriculation/ Foundation level are equivalent/higher

English Requirements

Malaysian applicants with STPM/UEC/qualifications not conducted fully in English must have a

SPM: Credit in English language OR
O-Level: Grade C in English OR
UEC: Grade B in English OR
MUET: Band 3.5 OR
IELTS: Band 5.0 OR
TOEFL: 40(iBT)/7.5(Essentials) / PTE 47 OR
Cambridge English 154/100(OET)/ELS CIEP Level 107/HEET 6 (NOT applicable for A-Level/SAM/CPU or entry qualifications conducted fully in English BUT must have a pass in English language at SPM level / equivalent)
Those who do not meet the above English language requirements but obtain a pass in English language at SPM level / equivalent are required to take the Intensive English Programme and pass CEFR B2 before joining the Bachelor's degree programme
