Course Highlights

Learn the principles and applications of science, management and breeding of animal and plant production, agribusiness, land and water management, digitalisation of agriculture and agricultural-related systems analysis
UTAR provides facilities and land dedicated for this programme which is known as the UTAR Agriculture Park to support your learning in terms of field work and hands-on experiments
Join field visits to real industry sectors such as the oil palm plantation, fruits and vegetables farms, fish or prawn hatchery centre, goat and poultry farms and others to enhance learning exposure and fun learning experiences
Gain the opportunity for international exposure in terms of a student exchange or internship in renowned agriculture-related universities such as National Pingtung University of Science and Technology and National Cheng Kung University (NCKU)

STPM: Grade C in 2 Science subjects (including SPM with three (3) Credits in Mathematics, one science subject and one any other subject or equivalent*)

A Level: 2 Science subjects of minimum Grade D (including SPM with three (3) Credits in Mathematics, one science subject and one any other subject or equivalent*)

UEC: Grade B in 5 subjects (including SPM with three (3) Credits in Mathematics, one science subject and one any other subject or equivalent*)

SAM: Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) 70 and Grade B in 2 relevant subjects (including SPM with three (3) Credits in Mathematics, one science subject and one any other subject or equivalent*)

CPU: Minimum 70% in 6 relevant subjects (including SPM with three (3) Credits in Mathematics, one science subject and one any other subject or equivalent*)

UTAR Foundation:
- Foundation in Science with a minimum CGPA of 2.00
- Foundation in Arts with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 (including SPM/equivalent with credits in Mathematics, 1 Science subject and 1 other subject*)

Matriculation/Foundation from other Institutions of Higher Learning recognised by the Malaysian Government with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 (including SPM/equivalent with credits in Mathematics, 1 Science subject and 1 other subject*)
Diploma from other Institutions of Higher Learning with a minimum CGPA of 2.00
Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government
* Note: The credit requirement at SPM Level can be waived should the grades obtained at STPM/STAM/Diploma/Matriculation/Foundation level are equivalent/higher.
