STPM:
- Minimum CGPA of 2.50 including credits at SPM level in Bahasa Melayu and Mathematics (Elementary/Additional/Modern) AND
- Either One (1) of the credits below: General Science/Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics

A Level:
- Grade C in 3 subjects including credits at SPM/O Level/IGCSE/equivalent in Bahasa Melayu and Mathematics (Elementary/Additional/Modern) AND
- Either One (1) of the credits below: General Science/Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics

Unified Examination Certificate (UEC):
- Grade B in 5 subjects including credits at SPM/equivalent in Bahasa Melayu and Mathematics (Elementary/Additional/Modern) AND
- Either One (1) of the credits below: General Science/Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics

Matriculation/Foundation:
- Minimum CGPA 2.50 (No credit transfer) including credits at SPM/O Level/IGCSE/equivalent in Bahasa Melayu and Mathematics (Elementary/Additional/Modern) AND
- Either One (1) of the credits below: General Science/Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics

Any Diploma (Level 4, MQF):
- Minimum CGPA 2.50 (No credit transfer) including credits at SPM/O Level/IGCSE/equivalent in Bahasa Melayu and Mathematics (Elementary/Additional/Modern) AND
- Either One (1) of the credits below: General Science/Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics

Diploma in Nursing (Level 4, MQF) from a recognised institution by Malaysia Nursing Board:
- Minimum two (2) years clinical working experience (credit transfer allowed) or without clinical working experience (credit transfer is not allowed)
- For international candidates, the candidates are required to have registered with the Nursing Council of the country of origin.

Other equivalent qualifications:
- Minimum CGPA 2.50 (No credit transfer) including credits at SPM/O Level/IGCSE/equivalent in Bahasa Melayu and Mathematics (Elementary/Additional/Modern) AND
- Either One (1) of the credits below: General Science/Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics
Applicants MUST pass a personal suitability and readiness interview

Prerequisites

All candidates who possess Matriculation/Foundation/pass any Diploma/other equivalent qualification except Diploma in Nursing MUST possess:

Mandatory credits in Bahasa Melayu* and Mathematics (Elementary/Additional/Modern) at SPM level; AND
Either One (1) of the credits: General Science/Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics
Note: *For Malaysian candidates only

Health Requirements:

All candidates must be certified medically fit by a registered medical practitioner within one month from commencement of the nursing programme
Candidate MUST not have any physical disabilities or impaired senses that hinder nursing dexterity
Candidates with any of the following shall be disqualified from entry into a nursing programme:
- Serious physical or mental illness, and/or
- Serious communicable disease: HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C
