Course Highlights

Recognised by the Board of Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agents Malaysia (BOVAEP) and the Royal Institute of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM)
Learn the management of third-party properties for a fee or commission and focus on managing, investing, buying, selling, renting, servicing, using and valuing properties to maximise returns for investors
Be trained to perform real estate valuation, transaction, management and investment and gain a set of comprehensive knowledge and skills that are highly relevant and employable
Upon graduation, you can register with the BOVAEP to be a Probational Valuer (PV) or Probational Estate Agent (PEA) as well as use the prefix 'Sr' (which is an abbreviation for Surveyor) in your name upon fulfilling the membership requirement for the RISM

Entry Requirements

STPM:
- 1. A minimum of Grade C (CGPA 2.0) in 3 subjects
- 2. Pass in Mathematics and English at SPM level / equivalent**
A Level:
- 1. A minimum of Grade D in 3 subjects
- 2. Pass in Mathematics and English at SPM level / equivalent**
UEC:
- 1. Grade B in 5 subjects
- 2. Pass in Mathematics and English at SPM level / equivalent**
SAM:
- 1. Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) 70 and Grade B in 2 subjects
- 2. Pass in Mathematics and English at SPM level / equivalent**
CPU:
- 1. An average of 70% in 6 subjects
- 2. Pass in Mathematics and English at SPM level / equivalent**
International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma:
- 1. Diploma with a minimum of 24 points (excluding bonus points)
- 2. Pass in Mathematics and English at SPM level / equivalent**
UTAR Foundation/Matriculation or Foundation from other Institutions of Higher Learning or equivalent:
- 1. Minimum CGPA of 2.00 2. Pass in Mathematics and English at SPM level/ equivalent**
Diploma (Level 4, MQF):
- Minimum CGPA of 2.00
Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government as equivalent to the above requirements

Notes:

**The requirement for a pass in Mathematics and English at SPM Level can be waived should the qualifications contain Mathematics and English subjects with an equivalent / higher achievement
Applicants without a pass in SPM Mathematics / equivalent can be admitted but are required to attend Mathematics Enhancement Course (MEC). Students must pass the MEC as a prerequisite to related core courses before joining the degree programme.
Applicants without a pass in SPM English / equivalent can be admitted but are required to take one of the English Proficiency Test recognised by UTAR as stated:
- UEC English Language
- MUET
- IELTS / IELTS Online (Academic)
- TOEFL iBT/TOEFL Essentials (Online)
- (PTE) Academic / PTE Academic (Online)
- Cambridge English Qualifications and Tests:
  - B1 Preliminary, B2 First
  - C1 Advanced, C2 Proficiency/ Linguaskill Online
- OET (Conventional / Online)
- CIEP
- HEET
Students must meet the English language requirements before joining the degree programme

Malaysian Applicants

STPM/UEC/qualfications not conducted fully in English: Credit in English language at SPM level OR
O-Level English: Grade C OR
UEC English: Grade B OR
MUET Band: 3.5 OR
IELTS Band: 5.0 OR
TOEFL: 40(iBT)/7.5(Essentials) / PTE 47 OR
Cambridge English: 154/100(OET)/ ELS CIEP Level 107/ HEET 6 (NOT applicable for A-Level/SAM/CPU or entry qualifications conducted fully in English BUT must have a pass in English language at SPM level / equivalent)
Those who do not meet the above English language requirements but obtain a pass in English language at SPM level / equivalent are required to take the Intensive English Programme and pass CEFR B2 before joining the Bachelor's degree programme
