- Learn the management of third-party properties for a fee or commission and focus on managing, investing, buying, selling, renting, servicing, using and valuing properties to maximise returns for investors
- Be trained to perform real estate valuation, transaction, management and investment and gain a set of comprehensive knowledge and skills that are highly relevant and employable
- Upon graduation, you can register with the BOVAEP to be a Probational Valuer (PV) or Probational Estate Agent (PEA) as well as use the prefix 'Sr' (which is an abbreviation for Surveyor) in your name upon fulfilling the membership requirement for the RISM

- STPM: Pass with at least Grade C (CGPA 2.0) in three (3) subjects^ and a pass in SPM Mathematics and English Language/equivalent*
- A Level: 2 Passes of minimum Grade D and a pass in SPM Mathematics and English Language/equivalent*
- Unified Examination Certificate (UEC): Grade B in 5 subjects (and pass in SPM Mathematics and English subjects/equivalent qualification)*
- South Australian Matriculation (SAM): Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) 70 and Grade B in 2 relevant subjects (and a pass in 1 SPM Mathematics subject and English Language/equivalent)*
- Canadian Pre-University (CPU): Average of 70% in 2 relevant subjects (and 4 other subjects and a pass in 1 SPM Mathematics subject and English Language/equivalent)*
- Foundation in Science, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman
- Foundation in Arts, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman
- Matriculation/Foundation from other institutions of higher learning/equivalent
- Diploma from Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT)
- Diploma from other Institutions of Higher Learning
- Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government
