• TVET Diplomas: Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) / Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM):

  • 2. DKM/DVM/DLKM in Accounting fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 subject to Senate / Academic Board’s approval
  • 3. Applicants will be required to pass the admission screening process conducted by the faculty and undergo the Bridging programme, if necessary, during the period of their study in addition to the existing curriculum structure
  • 4. Credit transfer can be considered on a case-to-case basis and subject to existing credit transfer policies which are in effect AND
    • (i) Credit in Mathematics at SPM level / equivalent**; AND
    • (ii) Credit in English at SPM level / MUET Band 3.0 / equivalent***
• UTAR Foundation/Matriculation / Foundation from other Institutions of Higher Learning or equivalent/Diploma (Level 4, MQF)/Advanced Diploma in Accounting or related field (Level 5, MQF):

Notes:

• **The credit requirement for Mathematics at the SPM level can be waived should any other higher qualifications contain a Mathematics subject with an equivalent / higher achievement. Applicants without credit in SPM Mathematics / equivalent can be admitted but must take and pass the Mathematics Enhancement Course (MEC) as a prerequisite to related core courses before joining the degree programme.
• ***The credit requirement for English at SPM level / MUET Band 3.0 / equivalent can be waived should any other higher qualifications contain English subject with an equivalent / higher achievement. Notwithstanding the above, applicants without a minimum MUET Band 3.5 or equivalent score from a recognised English Proficiency Test, as specified in the University's English Language Requirements stated above, are required to take the Intensive English Programme (IEP) and pass CEFR B2 before joining the degree programme.

Malaysian Applicants

• STPM/UEC/qualfications not conducted fully in English: Credit in English language at SPM level OR
• O-Level English: Grade C OR
• UEC English: Grade B OR
• MUET Band: 3.5 OR
• IELTS Band: 5.0 OR
• TOEFL: 40(iBT)/7.5(Essentials) / PTE 47 OR
• Cambridge English: 154/100(OET)/ ELS CIEP Level 107/ HEET 6 (NOT applicable for A-Level/SAM/CPU or entry qualifications conducted fully in English BUT must have a pass in English language at SPM level / equivalent)
• Those who do not meet the above English language requirements but obtain a pass in English language at SPM level / equivalent are required to take the Intensive English Programme and pass CEFR B2 before joining the Bachelor's degree programme
