Course Highlights
- This programme will enable you to apply the knowledge gained in the field of Computer Science and Data Science, and apply scientific techniques to solve computer-based problems, as well as have an entrepreneurial mindset
- Learn to conduct data-driven investigations by accessing, assessing and analysing data sets to gain useful information, be competent in using tools and technologies in building data models capable of prediction
- Be able to solve problems that involve disparate datasets from any domain and develop data products
- For this programme, UM has signed the MoA with Statistical Analysis System (SAS) to develop Data Scientists in Malaysia and SAS has endorsed the programme in Data Analytics by providing tools and educational material support for learning and research purposes
Entry Requirements
- STPM:
- Malaysian citizen
- Obtain a minimum CGPA of 3.00 in Science stream and;
- Obtain a minimum of grade B- in Additional Mathematics and Grade B- in any of the following subjects:
- Physics
- Information and Communication Technology
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Matriculation / Foundation:
- Malaysian citizen
- Obtain a minimum CGPA of 3.00 in Science Stream and;
- Obtain a minimum of grade B- in Mathematics at Matriculation/Foundation and Grade B- in any of the following subjects:
